What is published
A percentage taken off each withdrawal, on every mobile money network, on the operator’s own fee page, alongside a statement that deposits stay free. No other book on this list publishes a fee of any kind.
It is a small percentage and it is not a scandal. It is simply a real cost that a reader comparing two books on speed alone will not see.
What is said about it elsewhere
Several affiliate pages state that this operator waives withdrawal fees. That is contradicted by the operator’s own page, which is about as clear a case as this market produces of a claim that is more attractive than the truth travelling further.
The caveat that comes with it
The fee page carries no year on its effective date and still uses a telco name that changed in 2024, so it is published, linked and partly stale. A page repeating the figure should say so, which is what this one is doing.
The distinction is between a figure that is undated and a figure that is wrong. The first is worth printing with its age attached. The second is not worth printing at all.
